The average cost is $400 paid at the time of inspection.

 

What will I obtain at the end of the home inspection?

You will obtain a detailed report describing the condition of the property, including photos.

 

How long does the inspection take?

A typical inspection usually takes 2 to 3 hours depending on the property.

 

What are the forms or payment?

We accept money, or personal cheque.

 

How long until the report is completed?

Because home buying is so time sensitive, we offer a 24 hr turn around.

 

Who gets a copy of the report?

Usually the report gets sent to you the client; however some times people prefer that their agent get the copy.

 

 

Do we have to be present during the home inspection?

You don't, but many clients choose to be and are encouraged to do so. If you do not want to follow the inspector room by room, it also gives you access to the property, so you can take a second unrushed look and even take a few measurements.

 

 

The house I'm thinking of buying is only a couple of years old, why should I get it inspected?

Home inspection is not only for older houses, in fact, newer houses suffer from many defects that only show up when a house is only a couple of years old.
