With over 10 years of experience as a general contractor, Barry Berman brings a unique sense of observation and analysis to his home inspections. While many in the field blindly follow a checklist, Barry draws on his experience in construction to determine if a house is functioning properly or showing signs of disrepair. Having received CMHC (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation) approved training, Barry follows the InterNACHI (International association of certified home inspectors) standards of inspection, which is recognized throughout North America.
Having worked on all aspects of home repair and after being on countless residential job sites, Barry has seen what can go wrong and what are the signs to look for. "There are no bad houses, but sometimes houses get neglected over the years, and it is my job to point out these deficiencies". Barry's knowledge of construction allows clients to get a deeper understanding of what is going on with a house and how serious the condition is. "An inspector without construction experience might tell you that the roof needs to be replaced and scare you with this information. I would point out that while the roof looks bad and should be replaced, you can probably squeeze another 2 years out of it. This difference might help you justify purchasing the house."
With a straightforward approach, Barry will walk you through a home inspection and answer all questions you have, and then present you with his written report.
Barry will be pleased to inspect your future house, please call Precision Pro to book an appointment.
